What is this game?

DISCTALK Arcade is a vertical shooter starring the character you got from your DISC test. Thumbtacks and alarm clocks on a desk, notification bells in Message City, tangled cables in the Link Network, error pop-ups in the DISC Core — push through everyday noise and at the end of each stage you meet an overloaded D, I, S or C character. Beat them and they don't explode: they calm down, and their friends are set free. Drag to move; press the special button when the gauge is full. Finish the 20-question, 3-minute test to play all four stages as one of the 16 types; before the test you can try Stage 1 once.

Special buttonBig round button = special. One per 100 gauge; bank up to 2 (3 on Overload). Normal starts with 1, Hard and Overload fully stocked. Choose left or right placement in the pause menu

Bosses enter phase 2 below half health and gain patterns. Three difficulties — Normal, Hard, Overload — each unlocked by clearing the one before.

16 special moves, one per type

A special is a straight cannon that fires upward for 3 seconds. Each of the 16 types has its own look and line. Tap a character to read about that type.
